Linda L. Corwin, 64, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois, after struggling with a lengthy illness.

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Norwood Cemetery, Norwood, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.

Linda was born August 15, 1943, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Ruth (Lafferty) Corwin. She worked as a home health care worker prior to her illness. She attended Full Gospel Church of God, Silvis.

Linda was a strong woman, dedicated to the loving and caring of her mother, two daughters, and five grandchildren. She never took her life for granted by having a positive attitude about her illness and a strong faith in God.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ruthie and Frank Ceja of East Lansing, Michigan, and Victoria Fransene of East Moline; five grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Cheryl Corwin of Moline.
