Shyla Roggenbauer, 51, of Oconto, Wisconsin, formerly of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Sunday, January 10, 2010, in her residence.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, 601 21st Street, Moline. Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to service time. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shyla Roggenbauer Memorial Fund to be established by the family.

The former Shyla Faith McVey was born November 5, 1958, in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of James and Donna (Kahling) McVey. She married Ronald Roggenbauer on January 11, 1976, in Rock Island.

Shyla is survived by her husband, Ron; daughters, Daniella Roggenbauer, and Jamie (Jason) Dummer; sons, Jerad (Bonnie) Roggenbauer, and Brandon Roggenbauer; grandchildren, Braden and David Brewer, Parker and Alena Dummer, and Abigal and Nicole Roggenbauer; mother, Donna McCullough; and siblings, Keri (Tim) Scritchfield of Sherrard, Illinois, Craig McVey, Scott McVey, Leesa (Gabby) Buckworth of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Heidi (Shaun) Jeffries.
