Madelyn “Mal” Phelps, 71, of East Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island, Illinois
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service for Madelyn at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Madelyn Marguerite Shaffer was born May 11, 1938, in Moline, the daughter of Lyle and Lavona (Davis) Shaffer.
She is survived by two sisters, Frances Shaffer of Silvis, Illinois, and Phyllis Gomez of East Moline. She was preceded in death by sisters, Jacquelyn Duhlstine and Bonnie Stanlake and brothers, Ernest and Wayne Shaffer.
