Taylor Ridge IL I never met Harry but my late husband, Dick Johnson, knew him well and spoke of him often. Dick Johnson was head of mechanical engineering at Rock Island Arsenal and that is where he met Harry. Dick died in September 2010.He used to talk about Harry's changing of auto engines! Both these men were possessed of a superior intelligence and thorough understanding of engineering. I am sorry for your loss.

Colona Ill I met Harry at Blackhawk College. He was my dept.head as I was a welding instructor '76 to '79. He also came to my welding shop a few years later and I got to weld on a car he bought. We got to talk then and I gained a ton of respect just listening to him. I would have liked to have known him better and am so glad to have met him. So sorry for your loss. Bill
